Learn the fundamentals of fire dancing with Hoola Monsters creator & long-time fire performance artist, Abby Lee. Dancing with fire is an art that inspires, delights and amazes people all over the world. And in this 2-hour course, you’ll learn how to perform with fire in a safe and effective manner.
We’ll cover fire safety techniques, fuel options, and the technical information needed to become a respectful, responsible and confident fire dancer. Participants will also have the opportunity to light up in a controlled, safe setting and under the supervision of experienced fire performers.
Fire props and fuel will be made available for use during the event. Cost is $60 per student, in advance ($70 at the door).
Localtopia happens in February each year. It’s St. Pete’s largest “Community Celebration of All Things Local” showcasing over 200 of your favorite independent businesses and community organizations. This is one of our favorite annual events! We’ll have the hoop making station set up for the kiddos and you can find us near the band.
BIG LOVE AND THANKS TO KEEP ST PETE LOCAL (not just for Localtopia but what you do for our small business community year-round; we love you!)

Join us most every Saturday October through May. The Saturday Morning Market is one of the largest farmer’s markets in the Southeast (with approx. 200 weekly vendors)! In the summertime, we move to Williams Park, and if you’re looking to reach us on days when we are not at market, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
We are so excited to return to Canterbury School of Florida for the 8th Summer in a row! Campers will make their own hoops, learn cool tricks, play hula hoop games, participate in team building activities and even show off their skills in a performance showcase!
